Birr Oil Company was founded in 2003 by the Managing Director, Brendan Flaherty and opened it’s retail facility in July 2007. The company is entirely Irish owned, and in the secure possession of the Flaherty family, has seen two generations demonstrate expertise in the oil business.

Birr Oil is part of the largest independent oil distributor group in the Midlands and West of Ireland. The company is proactive, forward thinking, decisive, and sets and maintains high standards that its customers remember. Growth

In less than 10 years Birr Oil which is part of the Flaherty group has built a network of strategically located distribution depots and a sizeable oil tanker fleet to become established as a significant player in the oil business.
